1 c. celery, diced
1 c. onion, diced
1 c. carrots, sliced
2 c. red potatoes, diced
1 can cream corn
1 can whole kernel corn
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. dried thyme
2 tsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. dried basil
4 c. turkey or chicken broth
Combine all of the above ingredients in a crockpot. Cook for 8 hours on low heat setting or 4 hours on high heat setting.
1/4 c. corn starch
1/4 c. cold water
1 c. heavy cream
Turn heat setting to high. Add corn starch, water, and cream and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
